"As somebody from Tallahassee, this album is far better than this town deserves. I guess that's the point of such a terrible couple moving here to drink themselves to death."  Reply

"This should've been Bloc Party's follow-up to "Silent Alarm". This is a fun, new-wavey at times, almost dance-punkish at times, party album with some serious undertones ("four horsemen of 2012" anyone?), underscored by two dance floor ravers "golden skans" and "gravity's rainbow"."  Reply

"Mixed feelings about this one. It has some great songs like Living Is a Problem Because Everything Dies, Saturday Superhouse, 9/15ths and Machines but 4-5 tracks are quite skippable. The rest of the record shows Neil's improvement in songwriting. Overall a good listen but nothing more"  Reply

"This album was their highest selling album. I first heard a little of it in 6th Form when teacher played it in her room on one of the days coming up to Christmas. We had been learning about 'Oh What A Lovely War' and 'Journey's End' at the time. I think I got album from HMV at 'The Fort' (sadly t..."  [+]  Reply

"Explosions In The Sky have found a formula and they stick to it here, but when the formula is just so good why would you change it up? As per other releases the guitars sound so comforting and so pure. The crescendos sound so triumphant and so inspiring. This album transports you to a world of pe..."  [+]  Reply

"a pop masterpiece. i found it really hard to listen to it beyond Hollaback Girl because the first three songs are total killers and the other can sound like filler. But not at all. My favourites is Luxurious and the first three. Special mention to A Long Way To Go, i found it really interesting."  Reply

"It's a polished amalgam of PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Less jarring, better singing. This album has this orchestral lushness to it that I find extremely sedative."  Reply
