"Definitely in my Top 5 albums of all time. The guitar music is great but the way it is brought across in broad Yorkshire accent and dialect is summet else. The way the stories are told in the lyrics is just how one of your mates would tell a story about one of his nights out."  Reply

"If you've never imagined a vast fantasy universe of your own, or hay if you've never been sad or longing a single time in your life, then this album will do nothing for you except make you realize what you've been missing. It's the human experience seen through her own expansive, sometimes fright..."  [+]  Reply

"So nice to hear someone else love motown like music. She did a fantastic job with the sound, but of course a bit more modern. Most themes are of infidelity and from a woman's perspective, which was interesting. But not just a sexy tease, rather something much more real. Aretha Franklin of the 200..."  [+]  Reply

"I don't know how the guy under me wouldn't like this album. It's basically Absolution all over again with some electronics. But GOOD electronics as compared to pointless electronics."  Reply

"One of the most personal and beautiful albums I have ever heard. You feel as if you are in the hospital room with him while he crafts every beat and plays it for you. Simply just beautiful."  Reply

"To add to the comments below, I'd say "Degausser" is phenomenol, probably my favorite on the album. The chorus is so forcefully emotional. This shares a little bit in common with sadcore in addition to emo, especially in the later tracks."  Reply

"Every Tool album takes me a long time to learn to appreciate. I think that this one took me the longest. I immediately fell in love with Vicarious, The Pot, and Right In Two, but songs like 10,000 Days and Rosetta Stoned seemed repetitive and subpar for what I came to expect from the band. "wow... so many haters... I love this album... it has the melodic beauty of By The Way, without being boring and has the hard rock and funk of Californication and BSSM... at times I think this is their best album with all parts of the band at their height. I do agree there is a bit of filler, but ..."  [+]  Reply
