"With A-Z, Newman takes the post-rock robotic structure and aesthetics of Wire to its logical conclusion drawing on the expressionist psychodrama of Robert Wyatt, the futurism of Brian Eno and the psychedelia of Syd Barrett in the process. Newman creates chilling apocolyptic and fatalistic atmosph..."  [+]  Reply

"To Jackbrown. Yes, I'm aware those songs are respectively on, A hard day's night, and, Help!, but what I was referring to on that point was, Past masters, as a coherent listening experience. Yes, it mops up the songs not on any 'official' albums, but that's all it does, sonically it's all over th..."  [+]  Reply

"Yellow Moon is a good, listenable record. "With God On Our Side" makes it worth having alone, but there are good songs, vocals and playing throughout. About as good as The Neville's get."  Reply

"i loved this album the first time i heard it playing on a cassette in someone's car. it ended up being the first CD i ever bought, several months before i actually had a CD player :-) i knew i was going to get one, though, and i really wanted to hear this album in CD-quality audio."  Reply

"An album very much of it's time sonically, electronics and sound effects. Vocals aren't great but that's not really the point I suppose. E=mc2 is a great track, the rest are OK. Not bad, for an old fella like me it helps recall the 80's but probably not likely to set anyone elses pulse racing."  Reply
