"A solid debut album, it's just not something I haven't heard before. The album as a whole is very minimalistic and crisp. It has the tone of summer love and summer heartbreak like so many other albums before. Most of the songs sound similar in terms of instrumentation and lyricism which makes som..." [+] Reply

"The follow up to the slightly disappointing goat's head soup. It's a much more urgent album, especially on the opener, if you can't rock me, followed by the temptations cover ain't too proud too beg, and off course the anthemic title track. After that, the best of the tracks are the ballads, 'til..." [+] Reply

"Shabaka Hutchings, the ubiquitous figure in London's burgeoning experimental jazz scene, is back. When he is not involved with Shabaka and The Ancestors or his quartet Sons of Kemet, the thirty-year-old saxophonist and clarinettist enjoys venturing into the confines of cosmic jazz with his extrat..." "My favorite Eagles album. I think the concept works well here, contrary to some others. It's not exactly How the West Was Won, but not bad for a rock band's old west concept album. Outlaw Man is a great song, and Tequila Sunrise, Desperado, Out of Control and Saturday Night are no slouches, either." [+] Reply

"I won't necessarily put this or Jagged Little Pill above one another. I like them both for different reasons. But, with this being said, I really do think that they are two different beasts. While Jagged Little Pill was a really great album that especially emphasized and brought to life the teena..." [+] Reply

"Easing off on the psychedelia that was on 'Lost Chord'. This is a bit more laid back with a bit of a paisley feel at times. Still a good album. The Moody's seem to be a bit overlooked as an fabled band of the 60's." Reply
