"Without a doubt the best sounding album of 2017 to date. Listen with a good pair of headphones to find an expansive soundstage and clear separation among instruments. So far the songwriting is holding up with the production. This looking to be a highlight of 2017."  Reply

"Very good indie rock album. Best 10 songs average is 92,0/100 and the album can get very good 90/100. I like this sound and the album is rich in variety. Notable are the well-fitting electronic instruments and samples here and there. Best songs are the first three: "Everyday I love...", "I predic..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is bookended by two incredible songs: the band words overtime to deliver a bold instrumental opening in the first song, and Haslam's vocals in the last song are divine. Sandwiched between the two are some decent folk/symphonic tunes, including the shoulda-been-a-hit Carpet of the Sun."  Reply

"One of the great disco albums ever. Donna summer plays the 'tart with a heart' on this hugely influential LP. Working again with Giorgio Moroder, this is a brilliant concept album featuring superb tracks such as, hot stuff, sunset people, and the title track. There's a couple of ballads but most ..."  [+]  Reply

"Probably the most light hearted album I've ever heard, I bet if The Strokes came out before this people would think of this as a parody album! That said its pretty good. Just straight up rock and roll with no pretense, classic post-punk revival."  Reply

"There's really something beautiful about these albums, about everything J Spaceman and Sonic Boom do. An existential longing for meaning, comfort, home. They don't seek concrete answers, just disparate feelings and emotions. Like a last gasp, trying to find one small reason to live, with failed e..."  [+]  Reply

"I'm suprised that I'm the first to rate this, considering the "Eighties/Come As You Are" debacle. In any case, this whole album is the epitome of cool. It's legit. You guys need to go to more goth clubs."  Reply
