"a good compilation of some of his early sun recordings and more recent released in 1959 when Elvis was in the army." Reply
"Playful rock'n'roll, but a little too knowing and self congratulatory. Still, it is an enjoyable, slightly quirky pop album that still sounds fairly unique. Good album." Reply

"70-80/100 (Really solid dance punk album. Has some killer tracks to dance to and some that may make you feel very sad - whilst still dancing - and sadly some songs/interlude tracks that seem a bit pointless.) "I recently saw Toots playing the same old songs at a FREE concert in Blackburn. Rain had washed off the free festival in the park, so Toots was moved to the small stage at King George's Hall. What a great night. He played a number of tracks from this, including the title track." Reply
"The worthy follow-up to Beck's seminal Blow By Blow, this disc boasts some outstanding fusion workouts. "Led Boots," a fine interpretation of "Goodbye Porkpie Hat" and keyboardist Jan Hammer's "Blue Wind" totally kick ass. Outstanding guitar work from one of the greats in his prime." Reply
"This is a really nice folk project by Grizzly Bear frontman Daniel Rossen, and stands right up there with their best albums. Also, this album screams Scott Walker all throughout it, but I never really felt that this influence came on too strong, as Rossen takes the melodic phrasing in slightly di..." [+] Reply
"The fourth album by E, aka Mark Oliver Everett. Not the best Eels album, but Eels got off to a great start, so even if this isn't quite up to par with its predecessors, it's still better than what a contemporary like Beck puts forth for a typical release. The best song here is actually on the del..." [+] Reply
"Saw this at the top of a music journalist's 2021. Not my usual cup of tea, but it's good for scratching an old school rock, hard rock, itch with a little 90s alternative/grunge seasoning." Reply
