"YES..... yesssss.... The dirty churning angst on this recording is so very raw, yet understated... powerful beyond explanation.... This is not the "Dance to the Music" Sly... This is the ruminatin' dark and burnin' out Sly... a hard rude awakening coming over the war-torn survivors of the Sixties..."  [+]  Reply

"This is one of the first albums that got me into folk and indie music. Even if I don't love it now, it was pretty important to me. Some of the songs, however, are bona fide classics for sure."  Reply

"My favorite PG album without doubt. Fair enough to those who prefer So but PGIII is much more my style, reminiscent of contemporaries like Talking Heads but you're never going to mistake Peter Gabriel for anyone else, and this album has his mark all over it. Intruder opens things in what can only..."  [+]  Reply

"I put it on and the first track I was all like "Oh it's all like synthpop" but then this jangly guitar shit started bursting out with all this stand up bass and I was like "WWWWOOOOAAAHHHH" then all these kids started singing out of tune and I was like "WUT THEY OUT OF TUNE" but then I realized T..."  [+]  Reply

"Oh Marty Friedman... why did you have to leave the world of metal? Tornado of Souls has one of my favorite guitar solos ever. This is technically speaking, Megadeth's best album. Holy Wars and Hanger 18 are immortal tracks."  Reply

"Because, Timtooky, it's a little more cerebral than your beloved Toy Dolls LP. I hope you didn't read that it was a concept album and were expecting another Dark Side... And yes, having looked at your chart, your music taste is disastrous. Maybe giving this album more than 3 minutes would help ad..."  [+]  Reply

"Something else, is my favourite Kinks album. Everything that had been promised over the course of a brilliant run of singles, and almost achieved on preceding record, face to face, finally comes to fruition on a perfect LP. Something else, is the album where Ray Davies finally lands on his feet. ..."  [+]  Reply

"This album still sounds great today, it currently sits at BEA 501 Overall and 100% deserves to sit inside the top 500 I recall seeing Tracy Chapman live at the zenith of this albums mass popularity.
