Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 82.1/100, a mean average of 81.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.2.

An overrated and all over the place album.
He was still finding his voice and identity. It's part of the process to risk and fail.
What is not part of the process is to turn an reasonable record into a religious artifact.
Don't get me wrong, not a bad record but calling it a masterpiece is just dumb.
What a remarkable piece of art this double is. Simply a must for not only fans of Brazilian music but music aficionado’s period
A very exciting and interesting album to listen to and to explore with it being multi layered and full of depth. We are treated to some musical genius on this album with some truly sensational tracks that blow me away. The one that got me really hooked on this record was O Trem Azul which I had on repeat for days when I first listened to this album. I think this song perfectly captures the vibe and style they were going for on this release. There are several more tracks that are on this level as well but I do also think there are a few filler cuts which feel more like B sides than essential listening. This does hold the release back a little bit as it feels unnecessarily elongated. Despite this, the instrumentation is phenomenal and the acoustic guitar steals the show on this album for me. Overall, this is a record which is so enjoyable to revisit and is a must listen for any fan of music.
Great record
A maior definição de talento no Brasil!
This album is truly a hidden gem. Every time I listen to Brazilian music I want more and more...

The songs by Lô Borges are the most famous ones, but when he sings it's almost always a downer. Although irregular and unbalanced, it's a historical record.
The White Album of Brazil
Excellent masterpiece!
