"I agree, it sounds like his well known two acoustic folk albums, though it isn't as brilliant as they were. Best tracks for me are The Painter and Here for You while otheres like the last two I don't like and many are just fine. Still, it's a nice album to listen."  Reply

"Needs reappraisal, a handful of great tunes. In my own time, ordinary dream, melting in the sun and long time gone are right up there, only the schmaltz of a couple of ordinary ballads weaken the set"  Reply

Head
Soundtrack
""Head" was the last Monkees album to feature all four original members. Guitarist Pete Tork left the band shortly after finishing the album. Though it's a soundtrack and not a regular album it contains some of the Monkees' finest recordings. Especially the two Carole King songs "Porpoise Song" an..."  [+]  Reply

"Good album. Best 10 songs average is 86,2/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Besides good and very good songs are also some slight below-average songs included. However I like Offspring anyway. Best song is "Gone away" 95/100, closely followed by "Me & my old lady" and "Amazed" both 90/100 an..."  [+]  Reply

"This is a very solid debut rock album from bon jovi at the rise of hair metal. I was very surprised at how well this thing rocked, how catchy all of the songs are, how well they rock as good as hit single "runaway", all the way through."  Reply

"Hard to believe it's Art Blakey on the first and third tracks; he's playing like an ordinary studio drummer. Very odd, it's like hiring Jimi Hendrix and having him strum gently in the background. Other than that, all the musicians are killing it, particularly Lee Morgan. The track J.O.S. is a gre..."  [+]  Reply

"This was their big breakthrough, the album that made them famous to some and infamous to everyone else. They get ripped on a lot by people who make the mistake of taking them too seriously. I don't take this seriously and I doubt Fred Durst and friends did either. It's just a fun goofy rap rock p..."  [+]  Reply

"Another, what I would say competent album from Depeche Mode, although, again, unspectacular. As with most DM albums it starts to run out of steam towards the end. 10 tracks instead of 12 would have been better. The other problem with latter day Depeche Mode is the lack of that killer song. They h..."  [+]  Reply
