"Definitely the best In Flames album. It is their most brutal and heavy. The songwriting is very good. Moonshield is one of my all-time favorite metal songs, the acoustic in that is so good."  Reply

"In '86, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, i..."  [+]  Reply

"I think interesting Punk was always designed and this is the most designed Punk I ever listened to. The ex Disco Project of an Ex 60s Beat singer turned out to become a strange and strong musical force. Cabaret Pop, NEU! drum patterns, acted out anger. Out of time and just in time."  Reply

"This is what I would dare call the classic "Schulze". Very repetitive, analog but supportive drums, long drawn-out chords on the synthesizer that unfortunately beg a little too often for variation (playing a different note really causes a kind of relief). The sound of the synthesizer effects is v..."  [+]  Reply

"I agree that Nickelback is a bad joke of a band, but it's really the musical movement they came out of that is the problem, which All Music refers to as the "post-grunge" period where every band and its brother had a lead singer that sounded like Eddie Vedder accompanying bland AOR mid-..."  [+]  Reply

"Not a great record but not as bad as some in the music press have labelled it. The first 3 tracks stand out and tracks 4&5 are good, it then dips a bit (Tracks 6-8) but the last 2 tracks bring the album to a good finish."  Reply

"I'm a big fan of her old man's work and this album proves the apple doesn't fall far from the tree It's only her 3rd album but what an accomplished piece of art 'IRM' (A french derivation for MRI Brain Scanner) is with wonderful tracks from top to bottom There's the slow groove of "Master's Hand"..."  [+]  Reply
