Even though jangle pop still has got its underground edge, when done only slightly wrong it quickly becomes soft pop or adult contemporary that takes itself way too serious. This one balances on the edge.
A perfectly acceptable guitar-pop album with a clean, shimmering, inviting sound. Had to listen to this a lot because it was a favorite of a friend, and I didn't mind it at all.

takes a little longer to get into than reading writing and the maths, but it's ultimately the better of the two albums. a little more adult. a little less cutesy. musically, more confident. more mature. less snark. more romance.
A Beautiful jingly jangly pop album that makes a twee heart beat faster. My favourite tracks are 'Wild Horses' and 'Medicine'
