This for me is the closest sounding band I have found to Silent Running. Silent Running's Shades of Liberty sits at the top of my chart, for me then, this is also a really special album, with a slightly harder edge than the Silent Running sound. If you are unfamiliar with either band their sound sits somewhere between Simple Minds and U2.

This is probably the closest I could get to my favourite album of all time, Silent Running, Shades of Liberty. This is a superb album, great synth layers and guitar work with a strong vocal and meaningful lyrics.
