..to say it with my words: The album is nice but a bit boring.
Another competent Laura Veirs album, this time with a more acoustic vibe. It's decent enough, although nothing particularly stands out, but it's just Laura Veirs doing Laura Veirs. Again, it's good, but I just wish she would push the boat out once in a while and do something surprising and unexpected.
