Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 8% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.2/100, a mean average of 73.9/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.0.

Given the incredible quality of the tracks, it's unbelievable that this is an album consisting of b-sides. This is better than most studio albums. Acquiesce and Talk Tonight are amazing, definitely both in my top 5 Oasis tracks. It's criminal that they were overlooked for (What's the Story) Morning Glory, if they added those two to that album in place of Hey Now and Hello it would hands down be the best album of all time.
I bet in hindsight NG regrets putting all of theses great tracks out as B-Sides. Woops
This just feels like a record of filler content with the occasional gem popping up every so often. These gems would include Half The World Away, Acquiesce and Talk Tonight. These songs are all classic Oasis and are actually some of my favourite tracks by them. However, the rest of the album lets them down with pretty bland performances and repetitive songs. A lot of their songs are usually quite simple but that would add to the charm of them and make them effective whereas on here they just seem too simple and that makes them become stale pretty quickly. The Beatles cover is pretty bad as well and it always leaves a bad taste for me when that track ends. Overall, there is nothing really to draw me back to this album as I would just listen to the three songs I like outside of the album.
Could have been their 3rd A+ studio album. Solid tracks.
On par with Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory, in my opinion. Should be ranked higher. Forget swamp song and the questionable walrus cover and you've got a solid album. It's criminal that these songs were wasted as B-sides.
Considering these are B-sides, it is more than decent.

Alot of great tracks here, in their Singles like Marc Bolan & T.Rex the B.Sides were just as good as the hit if not better at times.
A really great collection of B-sides. Half the World Away is a classic but Acquiesce and The Masterplan are underrated gems in Oasis' discography.
