Leading a pianoless quartet in a club setting, Saxophonist extraordinaire Paul Desmond assembled a crack quartet, featuring Ed Bickert on Guitar, Don Thompson on Bass, Jerry Fuller on Drums, and, of course, himself on Alto Saxophone. The set flows seamlessly and concludes with Desmond's coup de grace, his own composed "Take Five" which he first made famous with the pianist Dave Brubeck. Re-issued several times throughout the late 20th century and the early 21st , this album finds Desmond at the top of his game, Verve Label Cat #: 314 543 501-2) and is a must-have for all serious record collectors.

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
