Animalize is roughly the sound of fire-winged bionic falcons flying out of the mouth of a giant pharaoh-beast. See "comments"

One of the most diverse albums of the 60s. Vliet proves he has the pop chops here before he dives into madness.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 82.9/100, a mean average of 82.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.2/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 9.2.

You seem to have great taste in music for the most part and a weakness for really ugly boys with big hair in spandex.

Glad you liked some of it Lethalnezzle. For the record- I completely endorse overblown pretentious music.

In the small chance that there is a Heaven, and the even smaller chance that I would get there, I hope I am greeted at the gates by Keith Richard playing "Tumbling Dice"

Glad to see Exile up there, I'd have to agree with the animal collective comment, I would put the raconteurs in the top ten before them, just my opinion though haha
