I don't want to start a Beatles war in this chart, you either agree with what I'm about to say or you don't. Anyway, in my mind The Beatles are far and away the most important/popular/critically acclaimed/whatever have you, band of the last century of music. So having 7 of their albums on the chart merely underlines that aspect of my musical taste.

Yes, if I wanted to, I could list a chart with 1 max 2 albums per band, but I'd just be lying to myself.

If you look at my chart, you'll see that I'd be the last person to start a Beatles war. I definitely agree that it's silly to list 1 album per artist unless you only like one album by that artist. I gave your chart a 95 rather than 100 because I don't think the Beatles made 7 albums of top50 caliber. When I listen to Sgt. Pepper's or Magical Mystery Tour, I just don't hear the great tunes that are on Rubber Soul, Revolver, the White Album, Abbey Road, or even their early albums like With the Beatles.

I actually think that Sgt Peppers is the best Beatles album and the best Pop album ever. Its also the only Beatles' record I like. Thats why I dont think Abbey Road should be N.1, and why i disagree about 7 beatles top 50 albums. Theres still King Crimson, The Who and Pink Floyd (maybe low), so my rating is 80/100.

5% off for having 7(!) Beatles albums in your top 50. With 5 of their albums on my chart, I'm not exactly Mr. Diversity, but 7 is a few too many. Everything else on this list is amazing.
