Kendrick for me really captured a period of time in his life, showing us a capture of adolescence, for me, this album is more personal than To Pimp a Butterfly and that wins it a higher rating. I also like the 'cinematic' feel to this album, the skits in between tracks really adding a feel of flow through the album.

Another great peace of work from Kendrick, for me, lacks the personal feel of Good Kid but an excellently constructed piece of work.

Eerie and well executed, the narrative, with the radio station 'skits' in-between songs, for me really adds something to this album, flowing through and making it really feel like you're on a dark twisted car journey.
