Some may not be in particular order, but these are 40 albums that have influenced me the most as a dedicated musician (drummer to be exact), as well as my personal favorite albums to listen to in their entirety. Numbers one and two are in correct order. The rest aren't really in order.

Amazing concept album. In my opinion, the best concept album of all time. Such a dark story of isolation.

Another great concept album of Pink Floyd. It's also interesting to note that this album has distinct heavy metal roots. "Sheep" is a prime example.

The self-titled debut of quite possibly one of the most mixed prog acts in terms of critical reception as well as consistency. But this 1970 record will always be a classic for me.

Extremely under-rated prog visionaries. This album is by far their best effort at captivating the listener by doing something radically different at the time of release. But then again, this album STILL can be considered as radically different. No other band out there that was quite like Can.
