Yeah, checkout that Steppenwolf album esp the track Magic Carpet Ride. They also did Born to be Wild which was in the psychedelic film Easy Rider.
I love that Yes album.

Great psychedelic chart, good to see Yes debut album in there, it doesn't often get listed as psychedelic. Hadn't considered Santana as Psychedelic but I suppose there are definitely psychedelic leanings. Not that familiar with Steppenwof so will give them a try.
