The most played song on my Ipod is the title track from this masterpiece. Also, "Don't Let it Bring You Down" is a real hidden gem.

Better than Revolver? Darkside? Highway 61 Revisited? Huey Lewis & the News Greatest Hits? Hmm. Difficult to say. I think as well regarded as this album is now, it will only grow in prestige and become more venerable as the years pass. It seems like the typical band's makeup for the past four decades tended to be a lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, and drums. I expect to see more six, seven, and eight piece ensembles going forward. This album is largely why.

What George Harrison did for the 12 string Rickenbacker, you could argue that Joni did the same with her dulcimer. It is possible for an album to be tragic and so beautiful at the same time? Yes, and here's the proof.
