"I assumed quite early on in listening to this album that I wasn’t going to be on board with its quite rigid folksy deconstruction of medieval British life, dedicating a track each to eleven different members of society. I was quickly shut up by the superbly good songwriting, which reaches a peak ..."  [+]  Reply

"Yes! This is an awesome album. I can’t believe the average to middle grade reviews Coulors is receiving. It’s fun , light and a blast wire to wire . Yes I LOVE Morning Phase and NO I’m not a Beck fan boy , what we have here are 2 vastly different albums back to back and both are great . Is Colors..."  [+]  Reply

"As a fan of Noel and hater of Liam Gallagher, I have to say this album is not that bad. Some songs remind me of Oasis second era, but overall I'm quite surprised. However I still hope Noel to beat this with his next release."  Reply

"First half is pretty corny IMO. I get that Joey didn't want his message to get lost in translation but I feel like I'm getting beat over the head. Lyrically the second half is a lot better but the production is lacking compared to the first half. I wish Joey mixed his modern sound with his 90s so..."  [+]  Reply

"I think if there was anyone who doubted Melina Duterte's ability to construct remarkable bedroom pop songs on Turn Into will likely be no longer be doubtful after Everybody Works. What mastery she has over the style(s), hell she even expands it! It's almost like a history lesson in dream pop but ..."  [+]  Reply

"Darker and colder than her first album, Black Origami finds Jlin swimming at the deep end, pulling out all manner of percussive tricks and dehumanised vocal samples to produce a record that demands you move your body without the simple four-to-the-floor template."  Reply

"As has been well-documented, the band was hit on multiple fronts with family illness and death and that clearly produced a fertile creative period. It's dark and heavy while also being proggy. What more could you want from a Mastodon album? I think this is their best work since Crack the Skye. Fa..."  [+]  Reply
