"Shame that the limits of vinyl meant there is a fade in/out between each of the 2 performances. It does diminish the natural progress of the music. Recording quality really poor, no better on CD than the original vinyl. Still def. worth buying" Reply
"A lovely album, probably Sandy Denny's best. Beautiful vocals and great songs in, it'll take a long time, bushes and briars, and Bob Dylan's, tomorrow is a long time. Classic record." Reply
"This album does not age because it is timeless, it continues to be inspiring for all those who truly love good music, unfortunately there are music consumers, those who are driven by trends and do not know how to evaluate a job with the depth that should be done, the groove in "Listen to the Musi..." "Must be one of the most self assured intro s ever." Reply
""The Dance of Solitude", one of Paulinho's greatest classics, if not his masterpiece. A handful of his most well known songs are here (my favorite is the haunting "Meu Mundo É Hoje", one of samba's best lyrics), besides a version of Cartola's "Acontece" and the ironic "Falso Moralista", by Nelson..." "At his best Nilsson wrote some of the best songs of the era, and had the voice to carry them, but records like Son of Schmilsson prove to be very uneven. "Remember (Christmas)" is a classic though." Reply
"I've always thought this was a very solid, if not spectacular, album. It is low-key, as subtle as the album cover artwork. Highpoints (IMHO) include the title track, "Spare Me A Little...", "Child Of Mine". I've had this one since the days of vinyl, and it still gets played." Reply
