"Finally they are back and with a rich beautiful album. Fresh, not off the shelf but clearly a Blur album. Terrific." Reply

"Most of the songs that originally convinced me of XTC's greatness come from Black Sea. I loved the meticulous attention to detail. I remember listening to Generals and Majors over and over trying to pick out everything, the humming, the barking, the numerous counter melodies. I loved the unexpect..." Reply

"One of the weaker Maiden albums of the 80's in my opinion, although it's got a very unique feel/production to it (at least guitar-wise). The power chords don't feel necessarily heavy or even loud, but very bass-y and deep. I love that aspect of it. It opens with its best track ("Where Eagles Dare..." Reply

"I heard some guy saying one day that he thinks this is overrated. Well, he must had something in his ears. Every artist, guitarist or singer would like to play like this and this recordings will tell you why. Amazing, every time I hear it. He plays and sings better then everyone can handle." Reply

"Amazing songwriter and guitar player putting out an album of amazing creativity and looseness as though it were being constructed by a bunch of high school kids unconstrained by any definitions of how a song should be made. This album may perhaps contain my favorite lyrics for an album." Reply

"The most exciting music Chicago ever put on one record (in this case, a double album). Nice catchy tunes mixed with gutsy rock jams. Its biggest fault is its long length and lack of consistency in quality." Reply

"A great homage to prog rock, that has some wonderful instrumental solos that really stick with you. The guitar solos are fantastic and really help to flesh out some of the weaker tracks. The lyrics are a lot of fun to explore with each song being it's own story. My favourite tracks are the title ..." Reply

"Even more raw than elephant and white blood cells. And although admittedly not as good as those two glorious records, Dr stijl, is still a rollicking good rock'n'roll album, with hints of Led Zeppelin. Good stuff." Reply
