"This album. Wow. It's hard for me to accurately articulate the experience that I had with this album. This album took me through a range of emotions, it showed me the entire life experience of a human being. People talk about albums being life-affirming, this is it. Susanne Sundfør just kills it...."  [+]  Reply

"If no their best, certainly Slayer's most representative work. War Ensemble is as furious as anything on Reign in Blood, while Dead Skin Mask and Expendable Youth showcase more of the toned down style featured on south of Heaven. A must have for serious metal fans."  Reply

"A true beauty of a psychedelic album, showcasing plenty of sitar and even classical elements like on 'Legend of a Girl Called Linda'. 'Season of the Witch' is a true psychedelic classic, often referred to as one of one of the most highly regarded psychedelic classics of the sixties. I particularl..."  [+]  Reply

"Another step up from the debut by what was to become the world's greatest heavy metal band. Does not contain any track as strong as Running Free from the previous outing, but the general quality has improved. Best tracks: Wrathchild and Killers. A couple more months of songwriting and a new singe..."  [+]  Reply

"Revisited Broken Bells recently, when I was going through a whole Danger Mouse walkthrough thing. I think it's actually aging pretty well. My initial opinion a couple of years ago was that despite my wanting to be attached to it, it really has a case of the wallpaper and the samey wameys and I ev..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is one ugly beast. I hated it when I first heard it. It's a heck of a lot darker than anything else The Flaming Lips have put out, but they pull it off SO WELL! Very krautrock/noise-rock influenced. It's also surprisingly their funniest lyrically."  Reply

"For a band that was releasing brilliant music 30 years ago to come out with something as good as this in 2023 is remarkable. Its albums and artists like these that reminds us of why we all love music so much , certainly one of years best albums and possibly the most pleasing return by a band last..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is five stars. Wayne is a modern composer equal to any previous or current greats, and this work shows his talents unlike any other album of his, and there are many great albums by Wayne Shorter. The emotions that I feel when listening are of every identifiable type. The compositions a..."  [+]  Reply
