"Sharply written post-punk album about sex and the role of gender." Reply
"A seriously great collection of energetic and dirty sounding songs. The vocals and distorted instruments go so well together. I can't believe these guys aren't more talked about. This and their even better follow up are two of the best albums of the era. Each song on the album can stand on its ow..." [+] Reply

"A fairly solid listen, proving that even a lesser Harvey record still is better than most. Still, it's probably the only PJ record that is, well, "just another" PJ record" Reply

"“There’s this woman on the internet, Even if she’s some Nigerian guy Yeah well you should read the poetry he speaks to me, i don’t care if they’re just beautiful lies.” Holy shit lmao this album is fuckin amazing." Reply
"Freaking awesome ! god bless these guys if there is a god. Rob you rock my man ! these guys have been making music since 1969 .. let that sink in. Fantastic and kickass album." Reply
"Where has this been all my life? This is an album that is worth it for the first track alone. “Bloodletting” is a bluesy voodoo groove that sets the tone for this album perfectly. The sinister groove within this song makes its way through the remainder of the album, coloring everything in its den..." [+] Reply
"Such a fun album the year it was released. I fell in love with Edie and the New Bohemian sound. It was simple, yet some of the songs off kilter and a touch sad. It was something different at the time, and when I saw them in Toronto's Massey Hall, I threw my flip-up sunglasses up to Edie and she p..." [+] Reply
"More like, surrealistic pillow, after the psychedelic experimentation of, Baxters, it's probably the last great Jefferson Airplane album. Some great tracks, lather, the title track and David Crosby's, triad. Airplane, epitomized that Californian sixties hippy thing that it was never going to work..." [+] Reply
