"Masterpiece of soundscape, to say the least. The guitar tone is an art in and of itself. The lyrics are hauntingly deep, even though the delivery comes across somewhat silly at points. The choir on Big Church is so damn good, All around this album is consistent and cohesive, which just makes it e..."  [+]  Reply

"King Gizzard have somehow kept their personality while making a complete shift in sound. This album is extremely pleasant, dreamy, and, as expected, psychedelic."  Reply

"Bold, witty and on the nose, Rosenstock’s epic latest offering ‘HELLMODE’ spans the human range of emotions, from raging to tender, and is genuinely funny at times, despite the deadly serious subject matter."  Reply

"This is an album that truly should be on any list of albums you must hear before you die. Love it or hate it it is a unique experience that must be heard to be believed. Personally I had a smile on my face (when I wasn't outright laughing out loud) for 30 odd minutes, so I must think of this as a..."  [+]  Reply

"Second album from the Stranglers, no more heroes, is another superb record. Great sneering and sarcastic songs from Hugh Cornwell and co. I feel like a wog, something better change, and the superb title track are a few of the standouts. The Stranglers were great at this point."  Reply

"Not as good as TA13OO imo, but it's straight fire. Shorter (only 29 minutes), more to the point and much more upbeat and hard-hitting. However I find TA13OO to be a more engaging listen, although both albums are excellent. Cannot wait to hear more from Denzel!"  Reply

"I love Serge, but I'm surprised this is his second most acclaimed album. While it contains a few of his greatest songs, it's also loaded with silly, goofy throwaway songs that sound very dated compared to what's on his other albums from the era. But if you're looking for the kind of music that Au..."  [+]  Reply
