Xtoyourmilkyhair (studio album) by Nobuko Hori

So this really dense and unusual glitch pop record from Nobuko Hori manages to conjure up slightly demented memories of the past, its evocativeness matched only by Boards of Canada - in fact it does seem like a glitchier "Geogaddi" with Hori's unintelligible vocals tending to add to the sheer amount of unease. but.... amazingly beneath the digital nightmare rests some pretty melodies, and sometimes (as evidenced on GGGGR for instance), Hori's babbling becomes a thing of beauty. demented beauty, but beauty nonetheless.
