It's amazing the comedy duo of Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner have Not been christened into the holy halls of BestEverAlbums.com until his entry. Long before other comic geniuses like Richard Pryor and George Carlin issued award winning albums, Brooks and Reiner were doing it. Rhino Records (Cat#:R2 72944) give the audience a real treat with this 1997 album by the pair as they re-visit one of their most wildly wacky and creative incarnations - "The 2000 Year Old Man." Sure there are some groaners among the jokes, but both Reiner and Brooks present such a character that one can't help but love. This is a must-have for every collection. You just may discover a funny bone you didn't know you had.
