The main songwriter of Alt-rock group Toad The Wet Sprocket goes solo here on his debut album. Ditching the Alt-rock sound, Phillips goes for grainy acoustics and his songs are better served because of it. Released in 2001 after he had been out of the music scene raising his family, Phillips offers a matured perspective as a family man than he previously displayed. Released in 2001 on People's Musical Recording Cooperative/Inhale Music Exhale Entertainment (Cat#: PMCD 60046-2/81100-2) this album shows a ton of promise for a bright future for Mr. Phillips.
