Folk music emissary Joan Baez has been around forever. Vanguard Records has had an association with the singer/activist for nearly as long. In 2007, Vanguard released their Vanguard Visionaries series of which this album was primary (Cat#: 73168-2). While most of Joan's big hits are not included in the ten tracks of this album, the songs that are here do an able job of whetting the appetite for further exploration of her music.
