I think he's clearly a talented musician who is great at working with sounds, but what the sounds make up as a whole does not do a lot for me. At times I'm reminded a bit of Battles, but it just reminds me that I'd much rather be listening to Battles. I'm not much a fan of his yelling either, as it sounds more like he's straining himself too much rather than actually sounding emotive.
