This album, like Neurosis, contains that rare music that actually touches both the flesh and the mind. I like jazz, though I don't necessarily listen to it all the time, and the same goes with this album, but everytime I hear it I go "holy shit"! It's like the soundtrack to some deeper understanding of time and the inner movements of reality. [First added to this chart: 07/04/2014]

What can you say about Dylan? For me Blonde On Blonde is the definite expression of him as a songwriter. Unearthly most of the time and much of it's greatness lies in his voice, a voice he really wouldn't come close to until Desire. Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. The sincerity mixed with the mystery. Not a bad list by any means, quite varied and focused substantially upon genres of great cultural significance but which are not often seen here. The metal choices are especially notable in this respect, although I am not a metal fan.

Desire is an underrated Dylan record... Never listened to Neurosis, what kind of music are they? Anyway a chart having Tool and jazz in the top 10 can't be below 90 rating :)
