Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I already rated this chart back in February but I'll leave a comment since it's chart of the day.
I find this chart really fascinating; for better or for worse you have a keen musical aesthetic that consistent throughout, though I wouldn't say sonically it's the most varied thing in the world the way the albums compliment each other gives your chart a distinct personality. Ordinarily I'd give recommendations of underrepresented genres but I'll recommend instead albums that I think might fit in nicely with your picks:

Very personal chart and, although I don't enjoy (or don't know) most of the top 10, I was pleased to see The Courage of Others and the Archive album near the end. Seems you dig deep and that's great, maybe some comments can help to raise your rating.

Very nice chart, love VS in the top 10, also Firstborn is Dead and both Joy Division albums. And it's not just well-known stuff, there are albums I haven't even heard of. Pretty cool chart.
