I guess I don't really understand what all the fuss is about. Nevertheless, this is a great album.

There weren't ANY bad songs on the entire album. The problem is, while many of the songs work well in the album, you can't really listen to any of the songs by themselves on your repeat list. You have to hear the whole album.

In Terms of EPs, this is the best one of all time, and it is pretty long too, clocking in at 34 minutes (about as long as a Vampire Weekend album). Speaking of Vampires, Vampire Forest Fire is a soul ripping song that really is pretty awesome. However, as this is an EP, and the very first Arcade Fire product, it isn't as cohesive as their later albums, and doesn't seem to have the common thread/theme for all the songs. That doesn't mean it isn't good. A lot of the songs on here an phenomenal, better than a greatest hits collection of the average band. No Cars Go, Headlights Look Like Diamonds, and the aforementioned Vampire Forest Fire are amazing; I'm Sleeping In a Submarine and The Woodlands National Anthem, despite Regine at helm (who in my opinion sounds the best on this record), are pretty awesome songs too, just not AS epic. Old Flame is decent, but My Heart Is An Apple is arguably the worst Arcade Fire song of all time (maybe with the exception of My Body Is A Cage *shudders*), but this is Arcade Fire.

A good indie rock selection, but it's too new. Try to look for some old indie bands.

I've been through that indie rock phase as a adolescent a great time if my life. Enjoy your cool music tastes I'll add to my faves always looking for new music new & old

Great chart! Excellent variety of music and very original, and some descriptions are pretty good. However, this is mainly from the 2000 until now, and you ought to know that is many fantastic and mind blowing albums in the 60' and the 70', among other decades. I am not saying that the albums you included are bad, in fact, there are some that are totally incredible, really nice. This is only a comment, of course. Also, i really like the predomination of Sufjan Stevens, as it makes your chart really attractive. So, overall nice chart!

i agree with a lot of this... but i find your comments, especially on the top ones, kind of disappointing i guess. Some really sick choices nonetheless. but where's Bon Iver, Bon Iver!
