Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

Could use a little variety, mostly in the form if less Radiohead, but if you really love them that much then you gotta do what you gotta do. Other than that one complaint, a very nice chart.
Great to see lots of Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, the Smiths and the Velvet Underground. Not sure about 'The King Limbs' at no.9, I like the album but I wouldn't rank it that highly, others will disagree with me though.
I like your chart!
Pretty good so far! Can't wait to see your other 50 choices!

It's always good to see someone whose favourite album is same as mine
cool variation and like the LCD soundsytem, such an underrated band. but not enough classic stuff i don't think
Dominated by the 2000's and Radiohead but still a pretty good chart. As much as I like My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy I can't agree that Kanye has made the best 2 hip-hop albums ever. The Tallest Man on Earth has gone on my wishlist.
Great list, obviously a big radiohead fan which is awesome because I am too. Really happy to see Pavement on here as well
