In Rainbows is the ultimate Radiohead album in my opinion. It has layered, complex pieces that will please die-hard fans but is also quite easy to listen to so is the perfect introductory album for Radiohead virgins. Never a dull moment and I never skip a song when listening to this.

I have to confess, I love Joshua Homme and this is the album that introduced him to me. Songs for the deaf is a high energy, hard rock experience that every rock fan should give a listen. Definitely, recommend this during a road trip because of it's reoccurring radio theme.

A very groundbreaking record from a very groundbreaking band. Lots of experimenting and different styles of songs. My favourite album from the Beatles because of its diversity, concept and of course, brilliant songwriting.

The Dark Side Of The Moon has the best album flow ever. An absolute masterpiece which must be heard start to finish.

An often overlooked album but it is my personal favourite. So many hidden gems to discover as well as my favourite singles from Jimi, Little wing and Castles made of sand.

I credit Tool for opening my eyes to alternative styles and changed how I listened to music. Poetic lyrics and a hidden track list which can be found using the Fibonacci sequence are only some of the elements to this album that make it extraordinary. I don't often listen to metal but this band is a special exception.

Every song on this album is incredible. Might as well be a greatest hits album although Zeppelin has many other fantastic albums in their catalogue.
