I used to play this album so much when I first met my wife. We used to cuddle up together listening to it on repeat. I used to have a cool record player that could play both sides of an album. You could set it to repeat doing this forever.

Ex-Teardrops singer makes his third album. This has the track World Shut Your Mouth as the opening to side 2. World Shut Your Mouth was the name of his first album which didn't have this track.

The pastels were the quintessential shambling twee c86 band. Lots of my friends hated them. If only they listened to them properly. Such a great band.

I'm 49 and this brings back great memories of John Peel. Here's a few more names that might ring a bell from the Peel show during the early to mid 80s (the golden age):
