This is a rough guide to the top fifty or so albums from the 2000s I have heard.
Vis-à-vis my overall chart, I will be much stricter on compilations, but the two-album restriction for each artist or group of artists is less necessary to gain perspective on a shorter period.
The chart, apart from its upper reaches, is subject to change, especially as my knowledge of the decade is less complete than the 1990s
