"I discovered Pavement after their split. I don't have a "personal history" with these albums too. For these ears, every Pavement album was better than the previous one ... what a band !"  Reply

"The fact that this album was played ad nauseum for a year or two, and features Santana partnering with Rob Thomas (gag!) overshadows the actual quality here. It's slick, overproduced and a little shallow, but it's still decent. Not worthy of the hype at the time, but not worth a huge backlash eit..."  [+]  Reply

"This is truly a great album with surprising songs. I remember I heard the song Instant Street for the first time, I loved it immediately and I love it still. Even the last song is mesmerizing."  Reply

"After all these years I still love this album to death. It's one of a kind, and absolutely deviates miles from the mainstream music, categorizing itself under the alternative rock/pop label. But that doesn't speak to the various genres on this record actually; it's rather colourful. It's emotiona..."  [+]  Reply

"Layered harmonies, strong melodies offbeat arrangements and instrumentation add to this psychedelic album. For best results "Black Foliage" should be experienced with headphones, eyes closed and mind open."  Reply

"Incubus's best album with Morning View to follow a close second. The Warmth is the best track here with a great guitar effect throughout Pardon Me, Drive, I Miss You Are fantastic. Tracks 1 through 3 are solid. Stellar is good too. There isn't a bad song here and the pinnacle of Incubus powers."  [+]  Reply

"Supergrass gets more complex, more groovy, more funky... and more inconsistent. A little more cohesiveness would make this an amazing album. Instead, it's just really good."  Reply

"Head music, is an underrated album. Alright, it's certainly not their best, but it's a good record. Some great songs here; electricity, she's in fashion, everything will flow, and, can't get enough, are all excellent Suede songs. Head music, deserves a bit more recognition, it's certainly better ..."  [+]  Reply
