"It is true, I only listened to this because Steven Wilson produced, played the keyboard and co-wrote one track. But this is not a Steven Wilson album. It is clearly Mikael Åkerfeldt driven here. Such beautifully haunting tracks. Favourites are: the first 3 tracks, To Rid The Disease and Weakness."  Reply

"After several listening, I find this still their best after all, and Into the Labyrinth and Aion come second among all their works, but this record is unparalleled in terms of atmosphere on the score arrangement. The only things I don't like about it are the utter separation into 4 tracks by Bren..."  [+]  Reply

"At the first listen or two, I was not immediately taken with this album. Certainly good, with some memorable songs, but I didn't think it could hold up next to Here Come the Warm Jets. However, after rather compulsively listening to this album for a number of months, I continue to be taken in by ..."  [+]  Reply

"Suede were always very large to put non-album tracks on their single releases so 19 of the bonus-tracks come from the singles "The Wild Ones" New Generation "," Trash "," Beautiful Ones "," Saturday Night "," Lazy "and " Filmstar ". The first two are actually "Dog Star Man" singles, but the recor..."  [+]  Reply

"Since the 70s there really hasn't been an artist that has put out more than 3 strong albums (usually in a row) and Pearl Jam knocked that usual trend with their 5th strong album straight. They come out pretty straight-forward rockin' on this one for the most part after (and as an extension of) th..."  [+]  Reply

"I think that the problem with this album is that, if any other band had released it, it would have been considered a good album, because it can from the greatest band of all time, many people consider it a let down. Compared to I, II, III etc. yes, it's not as good but it's not as bad as people m..."  [+]  Reply

"I think this is still moving up my list as time goes on. Not only is it a solid, consistent album, you are starting to see its influence on others. There's an 80s-ish feel to this maybe but it's also truly contemporary. Nary a bad track."  Reply
