"Part of the middle-era Tom Waits trilogy along with Swordfishtrombone and Rain Dogs. This album is usually considered the lowest of the 3 because it is the only one that has "weak" spots. I concede that point. Originally released as a double album in its original vinyl format it dose have moments..." [+] Reply

"Most accessible Manics album. Not of the same biting quality of their Richey Edwards era, but the most melodic. They were starting to lose control of their lyrics here, but it doesn't affect the quality." Reply

"Having heard "The Power of Love" and relistening to "Two Tribes" I stopped hating FGTH on principle. I finally bought the single and played it non-stop for several days. Despite having over-played it, the album remains, to my ears, a great work. It fares better, when you are no longer hounded by ..." [+] Reply

"Alice Cooper is underrated and seems to not be taken as seriously as some other higher ranking hard rock bands. Maybe it's because his hit Schools Out is overplayed and a bit on the cheesy side. Schools Out is a pretty good album but nothing compared to Killer or Billion Dollar Babies. I consider..." [+] Reply

"Enjoyably listenable pop. Tons of disco and soul influence on the writing and sound. Just a good modern take on that whole genre. Not innovative or avant garde, just really listenable." Reply

"As much as I love Q-Tip and company, the crew at Tribe might be pansies compared to Pharcyde. Sometimes the lyrics here go a bit too far, but production-wise, I can't think of a better non-Kanye rap album. It's as jazzy as jazz-rap could be." Reply
