"Eric Clapton's solo stuff doesn't get enough love on BEA. The man is best with an electric guitar in his hands, but he proves with this album that he can handle the blues on acoustic as well as anyone."  Reply

"I think this album may even be better than Back to Black. Listen to the song, "Amy, Amy, Amy." It's got a horn, what I think is a snare drum, and just the tiniest hint of guitar, and Amy's voice and her lyrics. Listen to the phrasing of the that song. Her appreciation of Frank Sinatra is apparent..."  [+]  Reply

"I had quite a bit of trepidation going into FTPoF. The singles were a bit mixed for me, and even my favorite of the bunch ("Your Mind Is Not Your Friend") probably wouldn't crack my top 15 or 20 National songs. Not to mentoin the early reception for this one has been somewhat tepid. So, I'm happy..."  [+]  Reply

"This was the album that got me into music. I found an old scrathed cd of it in the garage one day. For some reason I decided to put it in a cd player even though I was never really in to listening to music... Then the whole album electrified me. Megadeth really nailed this one. They took a more c..."  [+]  Reply

"Another strong album from one of music's most underrated artists. It's similar to her debut, but the songs are just as strong as they were on her first record with the beautiful, the donor, the standout track. A lovely album."  Reply

"An excellent album. Miles Davis really stretches his musical pallet in this funky masterpiece. Some superb tracks here, especially, rated x, and, Billy Preston. Good stuff."  Reply

"After "No Depression" by Uncle Tupelo, this was the most important Alt Country recording released at the time and superior to Uncle Tupelo's March 16-20, 1992 of the the same year which oftentimes sounded like a bunch of college students trying to channel their inner Woody Guthrie. Instead we're ..."  [+]  Reply

"In 1975, the musicians had already recorded two records, "High Voltage" and "T.N.T.", but they were popular only in Australia and New Zealand, and the rest of the world was not covered by the capabilities of the Australian record company Albert Productions, which released these discs.
