"Neil Young's Unplugged performance comes at a good time in his career when Harvest Moon was just released and he was performing with The Stray Gators. The first half of this show has Neil playing acoustically on his own and the band joins in for the back half. There's a good variety of tracks in ..."  [+]  Reply

"It's been a up and down experience for me with this album. I was really disappointed initially. After a few listens, there's a few good songs here and a really cool vibe, but it still doesn't feel like a Gorillaz album. Instead, it's a Gorillaz inspired mixtape."  Reply

"The best album of 1985 (the year sucked), and one of the best emo albums. The Rites' only studio record is one of the most visceral compilations of cerebral music there is, and probably one of the most influential albums on the decade. The general sound is very lo-fi but that doesn't mean it soun..."  [+]  Reply

"I'M ALIVE!!!! Bruce Springsteen is back on a rocking album full of nostalgia and the celebration and thrill of being alive. Recorded entirely live, a few overdubs aside, it is the sound of the E street band on stage and firing on all cylinders. "One minute you're gone" kicks off the record on a c..."  [+]  Reply

"Heavily influenced by The Stone Roses, Some Friendly also added The Prisoners, Julian Cope, and Echo & the Bunnymen to the mix creating a vibrant and sussed encapulsation of Madchester before it died."  Reply

"The title track is mesmerizing and will likely scar you for life. Haha. The rest of the album has it's moments and is an easy listen. Dirt makes you wonder who he was talking about and the opening dialogue to Gimme Some Good Times references Sweet Jane."  Reply

"In Canada, this is very comparable to Pearl Jam's Ten. Kids who grew up listening to tracks overplayed on the radio hate it. Those of us who were there when it came out remember very fondly how Gordo and company helped save rock and roll from the Brian Adamses of this world."  Reply

"During Big Pun's unfortunately short lifetime, he released only one album, 1998's "Capital Punishment," and with this one release he amassed the reputation of one of New York's greatest MCs ever. Listening to this album, it's not hard to see why. Pun shows simply amazing technique, lyricism, and ..."  [+]  Reply
