"This is a really good album by far her best up to this point all the uptempo tracks come one after the other followed by the slower tracks at the end of the album. It runs very smoothly best tracks for me are If, Throb, That's the Way Love Goes & all the slower tacks at the end. A great RnB album..." [+] Reply

"This is a great album and very underated, once you hear it you say "oh that song" and so on, it's kinda strange how it doesn't get the same kind of ratings or fame as kick, the album is good in the regard that it has some very well known tracks, you could say it's a hidden gem of Inxs albums." "The first half is brilliant, unfortunately the second half is a big drop-off. My highlights are Mr Writer, Have A Nice Day, Vegas Two Times and Step On My Old Size Nines. Weakest tracks - Caravan Holiday, Rooftop and Everyday I Think Of Money. The 2002 re-issue contains their brilliant cover of H..." [+] Reply

"Lately, The Flaming Lips have entered a very experimental stage of their career. They’ve always been fairly experimental and odd in their music, but lately they’ve been going in a very different direction from some of their earlier albums like “Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots" and “The Soft Bulle..." "A highly intimate album in which Sting lets go a little the virtuoso playing to tell a story and give it the space it deserves. To be listened to attentively. This one is not a party album. it is to be taken in more as you would take in a great movie or book." Reply

"This album is a lot better than people give it credit for... Some of Weller's most beautiful songs in "Ghosts" and "Carnation," and "Town Called Malice" is an all-time classic. There's not really any useless songs on this, and he's trying a lot of new styles, most of which turn out fairly well." Reply

"I really didn't like this at first. The music was great but Antony's voice made me cringe. Well, this album grew on me more with each listen. Follow-up: I have now also listened to I Am a Bird Now. All I can say is WOW!" Reply

"This is more than a gorgeous collection of wonderful choruses, this is vaudeville in the post-punk era, this is The Residents in the world of alternative pop, cabaret songs for demential grotesque cartoons. These dynamic, crazy, irreverent music pills have nothing to envy to underground rock hero..." [+] Reply

"This one suffered a lot of ridicule around the time of its release. A bit unfair. It's good, solid bluesy rock all the way through. Nothing remarkable but well executed." Reply
