"Between this and 40 licks, I've listened to 40 licks far more, but there are some really nice and crucial tracks missing from that compilation that are present here. "Some great versions of some fabulous tunes here. Andrew Strong puts his own stamp on songs like Mustang Sally and Try a Little Tenderness, and Maria Doyle shines as well. Both the album and the movie were instrumental in getting me into Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and soul in general." Reply
