"OK, I'll admit it... Ibought his album on the strength of the cover, She's gorgeous! I was standing in the shop and she seemed to be saying "buy me bitch" with her eyes... who was I to refuse? Was pleasantly surprised with content once I got it home and played it though."  Reply

"This is actually my favorite Hendrix album. The other members provide some great support for Jimi and the way they get the crowd involved is just something so special that you can't get out of the studio albums. This is one of those essential live albums of all time."  Reply

"I think of the first three R.E.M. albums as a suite. A journey from youth to experience. It was my own journey too, having discovered the band at the time of Murmur. I love many of their other albums as well, particularly Automatic but these are the ones that still resonate to me down the years. ..."  [+]  Reply

"I always wondered why I liked this album so much when it was clear the Stones were already well in decline. Then I learned much of the material had been written earlier which explains a lot as most of these songs sound like they would fit on some of the Stones great albums from the previous decad..."  [+]  Reply

"This is Wilco at their most accessible. The brilliance they displayed on this album in creating meaningful, earnest, alt-country-rock classics enabled them to become more experimental on later albums. You can't argue with the track selection here. Nary a note out of place."  Reply

"Only getting round to this band in 2019 - pity I missed them at the time. Sinister brought me in and I slightly prefer that at the moment but this is also a superb album. I love the feel and sound of the simple title song which I rate as their best over these two albums."  Reply

"This album is much more stripped back yet more 'electronic' sounding in places and the synthesizer was yet to appear on a Queen album. The first two tracks have been played to death but there are some lesser known gems hidden on this album. I particularly like 'It's Late' which provides some sear..."  [+]  Reply
