Pete Fountain cut his musical chops with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra back in the 50s. Now in 2001 he and his clarinet are back with The New Lawrence Welk Orchestra and playing up a nawlins storm. Released on Ranwood Records (Cat#: 8278-2) this album features 14 classic cuts and searing solos by Fountain and supported by a fine ensemble. Authenticated on discogs.com
