Recorded during the afternoon performances at Madison Square Gardens in 1972, while the evening concerts were presented on albums issued the same year as the concerts (see "An Evening at Madison Square Garden"), this particular album waited 25 years on the shelves of RCA before it saw the light of day. "An Afternoon At The Garden" was released in 1997 on RCA (Cat#: 07863 67457-2) and does not differ much from the previously released albums. It remains a piece which captures Elvis at the height of his Vegas-style revue and is an energetic and fun listen. Authenticated on discogs.com
