Well, "The Soft Parade" starts off with two stellar tracks and then gets a bit hit or miss. A couple of the remaing tracks are actually quite underrated, I think, but I definitely agree that it also has its duds. Especially the title-track has to be their least succesful "odyssey"!
Overall, I like it for its moments, which are quite great.

I'm a huge fan of The Doors, but The Soft Parade was really a blunder.
